Default Refreshing the handbrake / e-brake lever

Has anyone retrofitted a handbrake lever from a modern Porsche into their 944 or 968? Or had the stock one rewrapped in leather? I like the idea of a leather wrapped one, with contrast stitching, and a stainless steel button. Does anyone offer a steel button for the handbrake besides porscheshop uk? I don’t want to deal with international shipping.

Pictures would be appreciated!

Only944 now sells a metal e-brake button, but unfortunately it won't fit my 968.

I set aside my old shifter boot to recover mine at some point.
