Default Stud Length - 944S2

How long should the head studs stick out of the bloc for an S2 or 968? I wrote down my measurements on a piece of paper but I cannot find it.

Thanks!

I don't understand the question. Studs should be bolted in block as far as they go and then backed for maybe half of turn and thats it.

Why would you measure how much they stick out of block if they are correct kind of studs?

I recall reading an article where someone stated that the S2 studs go in further than necessary so then the head is up higher than the stud and you can not bolt it down. I measured them before I removed them but I cannot find the paper and I figured someone must have measured this before. I would rather get it right the first time than use loctite on these and insert them and not have them the right length.

Can't you put one in, put the head momentarily and leave enough for the nut, then you have your measure, I guess you do not have the head?

Not currently, I was hoping someone knew the number. I thought it was about 70 MM?
