I would like to know if these wheels will fit on a 1989 944s2. They are from a 996/911 turbo. The specs are as follows.
Front. 18 x 8 et 50. 245/35-18
Rear. 18 x 11 et 45. 295/30-18

Thank you

Fronts yes.

Rears no, too wide for a late offset car like your S2.

I'm running 18 x 8 ET50 on the front and 18 x 10 ET65 on the back

Yes they will front and back.
Will it be easy, NO!
The front's are no big deal to fit. The backs will take aggressive fender lip rolling and even fender stretching to fit.

I know this because I am running those exact same wheels on my 1990 S2 cab.

We had to run a small spacer and longer wheel studs up front to mount the 996 targa wheels (17x7/9 55mm offset) we put on the S2. The bearing cap wouldn't clear the wheel without the spacer and we did the wheel studs as cheap insurance against a bad day, we also converted to steel lugnuts at that time.

Thank you all for the info but I passed on those rims and bought a set of 17 inch twist cup 3 wheels. Does anyone know if I need spacers for these rims, and if so how big on a 1989 944s2? The specs are as follows.
Rear. 17 x 9. Et 47. 255/40 17
Front. 17 x 7 1/2. Et 52. 205/50 17

Thanks
