No affiliation, someone needs to check this out...3k. I'd get it but I'm out of state for work.

Please someone save and drive it.

Not getting a good feeling out of this one. But worth checking out I guess.

hmm...i agree, its probably not a beautiful example but even if say, the head was junk, the block/crank and tranny alone would make it worth picking up for that much. Hard to loose on a manual 968 for 3k.

I am heading that way friday from el paso to OKC. shot him a text for more info. Ill post back if anything comes of it. Not really looking for a car as I have an 88 944s, but you never know.

Got back to me pretty quick - sale is pending although not with me. He is going to let me know if it falls through. Iowa clean title. New tires, battery, starter, brakes plus others (his words). Needs interior and exterior cosmetic work. Runs good and no smoke. Sent me one pic of the car - black with horrendous aftermarket white stripes down the hood. Top was up in the pic. Was sitting in front of a clean house in the driveway with a space in the garage so might be garage kept. Going to send more info later when he is off work.

I will stop by if sale falls through this weekend while i am up that way. Ill update if I can but it sounds worth the 3K asking price.

If it's mechanically sound it's worth it's price in parts alone.

Could be a great cheap project for somebody who can do their own body work and paint.

+968

I also contacted the seller about the car. Found out it was an absolute STEAL but too late due to that pending sale.

Seller sent me a picture of it, car was black on black on black, perfect paint and perfect top, judging from the pic. Had some cool white racing stripes on the hood. I will post the picture later.

Seller said only issues were minor exhaust leak, damaged seats and door panels, and a mouse had chewed up a spark plug wire.

This leads me to believe the car sat indoors for years and is probably very clean.
