Default Before I start cutting...

I'm going to delete my rear window wiper assembly today.
It looks like you have to cut off the motor support with a dremel or something.
Am I correct?
Thanks,
Jim

Always measure twice. Cut once.

I don't recall having to cut anything and very much doubt you should have to. Has been to long to recall the exact process but i'm sure it's a bolted connection. Did you remove the wiper arm and remove the large nut on the shaft that comes through the glass?

I'll look again but it seems that there is 2 rods about 1/8 inch in diameter that are welded to the hatch frame and support the motor assembly.

Those rods are not welded. Just embedded in rubber.

Just pull and it will pop right out. You may have to cut a couple of the wires but that is all.

No charge, you just pay freight.

For what it's worth, the whole assembly weighs in at a little over 4 pounds...
