My driver's side front marker light is out, but the turn signal works.

By front marker I mean the orange light that's also the turn signal, but goes on when the car's running and blinks when turning.

My passenger side is working - it's always on, but blinks when turning.

So I opened the light unit up and found only the one bulb fixture.

So is it the bulb gone out? Or do I have to trace wiring or some kind of logic/relay error?

It may be a two-filament bulb with only one filament burnt out. Or it could be an electrical contact somewhere. I would check the bulb first, then try cleaning off the contacts on the back of the light housing.

The bulb is a 2-filament bulb, one for the running light, one for the signal. I bet one of the filaments is burned up. Just swap bulbs and find out

Gotcha.
This bulb replaces from the front? Or the rear? Mine is, of course, well stuck in there...

Maybe check the owner's manual or the Hayne's manual?
