Thumbs up 944 Short Shifter

Just finished installing the Only944.com Short Shifter and Shifter replacement on my 83 944NA. Cannot say enough good about this product. Everything works as described and the support from Kyle was superb. Because my car had only 73000 miles on it the shifting was not sloppy but joe it feels like the transmission is right below the shifter. It's not horribly expensive either.

I have both the shifter and shift linkage, I love it.

I just put the shift linkage in last weekend to replace a Schnell that was developing worrying play in the heim joint. The Only944.com part is really nice and feels better than the Schnell ever did.

Installed mine as well and wow, what a difference in shift feel and throw. Well done.

I have one too! I haven't gotten to drive with it yet, but I've been impressed so far

I built my own shift lever, similar to only944's, but I used a threaded rod to mount a weighted round shift ****.

With the short shift linkage, shift arm and modified shifter, it truly feels much more solid feeling and the shifting is very direct. Even on the 200K+mile transaxle I have in the car now.
