Hi,

Please send an email to Schane@Fabspeed.com - he set up this whole deal, and the first one we built actually went to a guy with an '89 2.7 car.

We are shooting for a $795 price for the non-turbo rear catback section as well.

This setup is 2 piece modular - if someone needs a cat for emissions purposes once every year or every other year, they can buy the rear part of this pipe with a Catalytic converter instead of a resonator, AND we can build the pipes with CARB legal cats (our preference would be our 200 cell sport cat though).

We need a test car to build this system for the 3.0 S2 or the 968. Currently this only fits the '82-'89 8 valve non turbo 944, the '87-'88 924S (unsure if the 944S cat section is the same as the 8 valve).

We would do an introductory group buy if we can get 10 buyers to pre-pay.
If I were closer I'd definitely offer my S2 cab as a test car.

So I will buy this high flow cat and will install. I'm planning to do mid to end of Feb.
is anyone put this cat in your car?
Any feel difference? I know fabspeed is producing very quality part, but still it would be nice to know if any difference was noticed.

Thanks

Are you still looking for a test S2? If so, how long would you need the car? Would a day or weekend suffice?

Would the car need to be local for testing, etc.?

Did I miss the dyno sheets? I would like to see a comparison of stock vs. the Fabspeed setup.

Any update on this? Hate to bump an old thread but I'm curious.

Interested as well, in desperate need of a new exhaust and this looks like a great option.

Was just reading over this thread. We do have exhaust products for the 944 Turbo 951. We were not able to come out with headers as of yet. I'll start asking around about the headers. I am fairly new at Fabspeed so i'm not quite sure of how far into production the headers were. I'll surely poke around for everyone to shed some light on the topic. Feel free to PM me or email me with any other questions. Anthony@Fabspeed.com

Looking forward to seeing the Dyno Charts for the N/A exhausts. As a side note are you testing on a '88 high compression motor or the '87 or earlier lower compression motor?

I was asking around and I don't believe we are doing any testing at this point in time. It looks as if we may have been directed to a different route. I will keep you updated if anything is to arise. Sorry guys.

The 951 catback should fit the 944NA if you change the flange from a square 4-bolt to a 3-bolt.
