Cost for this section, with a resonator and not a sport cat (cats are expensive), is $695

We are shooting for a $795 price for the non-turbo rear catback section as well.

This setup is 2 piece modular - if someone needs a cat for emissions purposes once every year or every other year, they can buy the rear part of this pipe with a Catalytic converter instead of a resonator, AND we can build the pipes with CARB legal cats (our preference would be our 200 cell sport cat though).

We need a test car to build this system for the 3.0 S2 or the 968. Currently this only fits the '82-'89 8 valve non turbo 944, the '87-'88 924S (unsure if the 944S cat section is the same as the 8 valve).

We would do an introductory group buy if we can get 10 buyers to pre-pay.

Chris, I think the market could use a really good set of headers... I've done a bunch of pulse wave-action simulations on header design for 944s. PM me if you want more detail.

I'm about 90% sure that the S uses the same exhaust as the S2, ill know in a week or so on that.

Headers are in the gameplan as well as a "track" rear cat back. I wanted to make these mainly for the 944 Cup guys. If you want to email me about the header design I'd be happy to chat with you on it.

I agree with Van as needing another header option for the NA. The only two I know of are Stahl(expensive) and MSDS. PS I LOVED my 4" Fabspeed exhaust on my turbo. By far the best on the market and was supprised when then stopped making them. Sounded SOOO good.

will RHD cars get a look in on this new header? in our cars the steering shares the same space.

A couple questions:
-please post a dyno run for your baseline car (if available) of the benefits of the system
-please post a clip of the exhaust system idling and run through the gears (maybe from the pull requested in #1)
-any fault codes thrown on the well maintained baseline car?
-estimated group buy price/price break on buying both components of the system

Thank you, great looking work

944 fault codes = when it breaks there is a fault.

I'm afraid I do not have a RHD car to test with and I do not think a long tube header could be made unless I had a 3d model or a car here.

Hello Chris,

Send me some info my 2.7 L. I'm think to replace my CAT with high flow. Where to buy, shipping and parts cost.

Thanks
