in California and the northeast, the cars are so far out past *upside down.... the laws of economics cause the 944s to be cut up over issues that ostensibly, some owners in the rust belt and nether regions might otherwise, consider curable..... hence the laws of evolution have brought us Lart and the Connecticut Kid cutting up the cars in these areas of the country in such alarming numbers.
*outrageous shop rates + lower demand for the cars at sale time.

But those of us who actually like to drive the cars have our own methods, such as registering them in odd states and mostly driving them on the track. If those loopholes disappear, we'd probably all be driving Datsun 510s.

I can tell you all the weather today in Big Basin, about 2 miles off 9, is spectacular. The road must be great. I'm taking the 928 into town after the commute is over. The 944 has it's transmission out at the moment...
For anyone unfamiliar with Hwy 9, the best day is Wednesday and the best time is about 2 to 3 pm. If you've got good headlights, just turn those numbers into a.m.

Trying to gauge interest in doing a get together again....
This would be for next week Sat or Sun etc... maybe even Fri and most are off after Thanksgiving
I am probably going down tomorrow to Big Basin Way and head up 9 and then 84 or Pescadero to US 1
Anyone want to meet at the 76 gas station ?
I'll probably go around 8ish maybe 8:30 if someone doesn't want to go that early?
