Default 1988 924S Special Edition

This appears to be the lightweight SE 924S.

No affiliation with the ad. I think these had some good options. Manual windows passenger mirror missing.

Nice car. I am leary because of all the misspellings. I would love to have an 88 924S.

What makes you think its an SE? it doesn't have the properly painted wheels and the lack of a sunroof doesn't mean it was an SE. I guess the pass mirror could be a sign..... The hatch wing was replaced with a 944 wing at some point in its life, It should have the small wing.

It doesn't have the right hand mirror, and it is an 88.

Properly painted wheels? The US Spec cars had silver phone dials, it was the ROW LeMans cars that had turquoise accents on the wheels.

Now I am not 100% sure that this car is an SE, but if I was a betting man (and i am) I would be wiling to bet that it is. The manual drivers side mirror is a strong indication, throw the mud flaps and manual windows in the mix and it seems that it is most likely an SE.

Default 1988 Porsche 924S Lemans Special Edition

I am considering purchasing a 1988 Porsche 924S Lemans SE with very low miles, up-to-date maintenance and in excellent condition. Maintenance was done in a well known and reputable shop. This car has been a private collection for many years. Only 500 were made and few come up for sale.

Because of a lack of sales history, I am having a difficult time coming up with a good amount to offer for this car.

Any input on how to price this car would be appreciated. Thanks

Why do you have to price it at all? Why not just say 'how much do you want?'

And then offer less.
