Ok, I have to change up the location of where we are spotting our beloved cars. Seems nearly everyone so far to have posted a spotted 944/968/924 seems to be from the Eastern half of the US. Good god there is a LOT of you ;-) In the last week, I have seen 3 944's in my home town Marysville, Wa. A Red 968 ( I have seen and waved to him before actually), a White 944, and a Silver 944. A few days ago, I passed by a guy on I-5 between 196th and 128th headed North, and exchanged a couple words regarding year and how clean each others looked. Then yesterday, I was getting on to I-5 N. from St. Route 104 and got up next to a guy driving a Silver (IIRC) 951, and gave him the hang loose gesture.

They are starting to come out of the wood works finally!

Coming home from work. Spotted a light blue 944, accerlated to get a closer look. Pulled behind at a red light, window rolls down and out pops a beautiful young girl waving and smiling. I wave back with a smile in disbelief, we come to a second light and I pull beside her. We rolled our windows down, she asked "what year?" I ask the same. She was driving an 83, she has time to tell me that this is her second 944! So great to see younger people with an appreciation for these cars. This is the second female in a 944 I've seen this week. The other was a cute blond in a turbo. I guess there are boxster girls and 944 babes. Nice.

So we get back in our 968 cab after a quick trip to the QFC and a fellow approaches...
"So how long have they been making this model Porsche. I though I knew my Porsches but I have never seen one of these". " Beautiful car!"

Today was wonderful! A total of 12 944s in one day! 6 of them at a single cars and coffee (not planned), 5 at a General Porsche get together, and 1 on the road. I pulled over with the one from the road and we chatted for a couple minutes. I suspect a 944 get together in Northern Virginia in the near future...

Was one of these the Fair Lakes C&C?

A meetup in the area would be nice

It was the Great Falls Cars and Coffee. Do you think that there is enough time to fit in a meetup? It would probably have to be within the next few weeks? But I definitely know a lot of people who would be down for one. I just never take it upon myself to organize these things

haha, yeah. There is a facebook group for DC area front-engined water-coolers that might be a good medium in addition to RL. It will have to be soon, though considering the weather seems to be getting pretty dramatic around here.

Saw a gold/bronze colored 944 heading towards the Eisenhower Exit on I-75 yesterday, and a passed by a black 944 on Watson Blvd this morning. Any chance those guys are on here?

Also saw a Plymouth Prowler on my way to school. I was really excited because it was ugly and I had a hot wheels of it.

Now that's interesting. I saw a Prowler on my way to school yesterday too. First one I've seen in a year or two.
