Default FS: 1994 Porsche 968 Supercharged - $19500

I wanted to see if any of my fellow 944 friends would want to plung into the 968 world. It would make a great Fest car! Details and pictures are in the classified link, if you can not see it let me know.

Thanks!

Here are the details. There are a lot of pics and I do not want to have anything taken down for bogging down Rennlist by posting them everywhere. I will put a couple up in this thread.

Up for sale is my beloved 968 track car that I flew to the other side of the country to buy in Beverly Hills and drive back to Cincinnati with my wife and no radio. Alas though, I have too many cars and am karting more than instructing at the track these days so a car has to go. The deal was I could get my DeLorean if I sold the 968, so naturally I got the DeLorean first and now am selling the 968. It is a fast car and has taken me around Mid-OH in 1:41's on chicane course and 1:39's on pro course (I am sure there is more time to be had). Here is a list of the specs:

94 968 6 Speed LSD with 84K miles
Speed Force Racing Supercharger, Intercooled, Putting Out 7 PSI Max – 378 HP Kit
Speed Force Racing Stage 1 Header
SMT6 Piggyback
B&B Cat-back Exhaust
Zeitronix Wide Band O2 Sensor
Porsche GT3 Seats with Crests in Headrests
KLA Oil Pan Gasket Braces
Lindsey Racing Oil Pan Baffle
RX7 Modified External Oil Cooler (Larger than stock) with Custom Stainless Lines
New Rod Bearings
968 Turbo Carbon Fiber Adjustable Rear Wing
968 Turbo 3 Piece Wheels with Porsche Center Caps & Steel Racing Lug Nuts – Hoosiers Mounted
Extra Set of 18” Dunlop SP Sport Tires that Fit the Turbo Wheels & 2 Spare Hoosiers
Custom Aluminum Front Splitter/Undertray
New Oydessy Light Weight Dry Cell Battery
Nology Spark Plug Wires
Porsche Manual Steering
Autopower Roll Bar
Simpson 6 Point Camlock Harnesses
Momo Race Steering Wheel with Porsche Crest Horn Button
Alcentara Covered Shift **** with Aluminum 6 Speed Button
No Crack Dash
Rear Seats Removed
Both Driver and Passenger Air Bags Removed and Deactivated in Computer/Dash
Leda Adjustable Coilovers Front and Rear
Torsion Bars Removed
Porsche M030 Front and Rear Sway Bars (Rear Adjustable) With Delrin Bushings
Racers Edge Rear Sway Bar Mounts w/ Delrin Bushings
Adjustable Rear Sway Bar Drop Links
Fabcar Control Arms with Spare Ball Joint & Delrin Bushings
KLA Strut Tower Bar
KLA Front Sway Bar Braces
Racers Edge Camber Plates
New Variocam Pads and Racing Cam Chain
Balance/Timing Belts Replaced 06/2010 with less than 500 miles
New Water Pump 06/2010 with less than 500 miles
Replaced Radiator 2008
New Coolant Hoses 06/2010
New Motor Mounts
Stainless Brake Lines
Hawk HT-10 Brake Pads with 2 Extra Sets of Street Brake Pads (full pad)
928 5/33 Brake Bias Valve
New Clutch 2008
Custom CoolShirt Mounting Plate in Spare Tire Well with Wiring Switch on Main Console
Sony Memory Disc Radio - Working
Extra Supercharger Oil Included
Have electronic copies of manuals for supercharger system

There are a few cosmetic issues such as the front bumper grill is not in the best shape and the lower lip is held in place by the splitter. There are two small dents on the top of the hood and one pimple, though I never saw it affect my aerodynamic efficiency. Some paint around the exhaust tip is peeling back just around the edge of the exhaust hole in rear bumper. Finally there is one led light on the drivers side door that is broken but the door still locks and functions, just cosementic and the covering on the passenger top is browning. Nothing too big for someone who wants to make it a perfect concourse winner.

Car is sold to it's happy new owner. Went on racingjunk to the first person interested. While he was thinking I put it up on craigslist and an explosion of 5 people waiting and offerring happened, but alas the first person from racingjunk came and towed my baby away. It is heading out east and I wish the two of them well. I hope he has fun beating up on some corvettes!

Dan, you should have bought it!! But then you would be almost as fast as me....so it was good to not bring the world to an end with cats and dogs living together.
