Coming from 15/16" factory light weight wheel, (944) then putting on a 18/19" wheel will be fine? You think your suspension was designed for this? Go hit a pot hole and tell me that your 19" wheel and your factory designed suspension was up to the task. Not a chance. Ask yourself how your ball joints are after running 19" wheels.
A few pounds LOL. Get your scale out. Have fun with the unsprung weight.

The 17" 10 spokes were actually slightly lighter than my d90's. The tires were heavier but no issues there. I'm running 968 castor blocks as recommended by the factory.

I run 17's usually and live in a town with a pothole problem (thanks low taxes!) Koni yellows, 200lb springs up front, 968 m030 sways. The wheel still looses first when you hit a pothole. believe me i know, I'm back on my d90's right now because of a pothole. The suspension was just dandy, 2 of the wheels have dents that need to be fixed though.

18" Fuchs would be sweet. IMO 19" are just too big on a 944.
