Nothing but great transactions with Dan.

If you are having trouble contacting him PM me and I'll see if I can get in touch with him.

Default Good seller

Purchased a AOT tranny from him and it is still shifting great. It came in it's own wooden box... I was impressed.

I would not hesitate doing business with him again.

I went in on the IMI starter group buy with him... and I believe I was one of the first to install and share a video of it that he still uses on his site... to summarize, the transaction was perfect and we were in great communication about the product... no issues whatsoever and if there is anything that I need and he has, I will buy it from him without batting an eye... that help?

I haven't actually done biz with him but I have only seen and heard nothing but good things about him in here and the 924board. Never heard an ill word about him or his business. H'e has always been very helpful to me.

I've had a few transactions in the past that were flawless.

Update:
After Rolex messaged him (2/23/11), he replied to me 2 hours later... I have just received my parts as of yesterday.

So what you are saying is that you could have saved a bunch of mental masturbation by sending a pm to a mod instead of being a online jackass!

Hmmmm, please THINK in the future......

*A Troll appears!*
Thank you for contributing positively with your degrading comment Joel. Troll somewhere else.

I made this thread to ask for feedback and inform others (regardless of my current and past experiences) of my concern with him and how this transaction was handled with Ideola, not for pointless and outright ignorant comments.
I did in fact notify a moderator as soon I posted this thread. I could have opted to not create the thread and waited to see what happened, but I wanted feedback to see if this was normal or not. It appears not.

Maybe in the future, you should take your own advice

Poor Barry. please son, give all of us a break!!!!!!!!! Just like school in the summer..... No Class!!!!
This is a technical forum, please try to contribute in the future. We will all be waiting.
Oh by the way, the vendor that you were trying to degrade has a stellar reputation on this forum.

on a lighter note...this thread reminded me that I hadn't installed my IMI starter I bought from Ideola on the last group buy. Installed it today - works great! Highly recommend. I actually like the 'sound' better than stock. My understanding is that it pulls less current, but there's no advantages in the weight department or really anything else for that matter - other than it's new and you don't have to put the exhaust heat shield back on after replacing.

I got flamed for a similar post a few years ago regarding a transaction with a Rennlister that went south. That post was the only reason I got the part I paid for. Sometimes you need to bring things to the forum that people visit, be it technical or not, to resolve the issue.

I have nothing but good things to say about Ideola, but 100+ good transactions does not mean **** to the OP, when he may be getting the run around by a seller.

Just my $.02. Flame away internet heros.

Bonus12, glad you got the reference!

Joel,
you barge in here and your first post is an insult and outright wrong, and then your second post slams me again and suggests that I'm not contributing to the forum, and I have no class. I think your accusations are a little backwards, and really uncalled for
If I wanted to legitimately degrade the vendor's rep, I would simply tell the story and that would do it by itself. But I won't go there because this person has done well by many people on here, and I'm one of only a couple that didn't get that, so I'm just chalking it up to that and leaving it alone. It's done and handled anyway... People can make their own decisions and ask further if they care.
Other members were helpful enough to post their thoughts and experiences without attacking me for being a simple concerned customer, so to those, I sincerely thank you for your helpful input

If you have some sort of problem with me and want to carry-on acting in your manner and create drama, please do it via PM directly to me and spare us all. If you choose to publicly belittle me again, I'll simply notify a moderator and they will sort you out. This is no place for that.
So move along, you're killing the grass.
