Power Seat "twisted" up
So I just noticed the passenger seat (4 way heated 964 seats) in my 951 is quite "off." It was not like that when I installed it.
When looking at the seat through the windshield, you can see all 4 corners are at different heights - but nearly bottomed out and is in tension. I can't even slide the seat fowards or backwards I have no idea how it happened unless a cable snapped while someone was adjusting the seat? I don't think it would be electrical because the heights are different side to side.
I am trying to figure out how to remove the seat so I can see what I'm dealing with, but that seems to be impossible. Has anyone dealt with this and have a trick to adjust the seats enough to remove and assess WTF is going on?

I'm assuming you tried to raise the seat via the motors. Are they dead?
If so and if you can reach the motors, you could disconnect the cables and attach it to a drill. Just make sure to raise it slowly in case you strip/ snap the cable.

In order to remove the seat you have to move it all the way forward to remove the 2 bolts in the rear rail. The bolts are hex head. Move the seat all the way to the rear and remove the 1 bolt in front rail and the seat can now be removed. Don't forget to unplug the wires. With the seat removed you should be able to figure out the position problem.
