Why not put some "holes" in the sides to make little windows in the big orange parts? To make it look like ... for lack of a better term... 928?

This is what I've always envisioned.

Forgive my terrible editing skills, and the fact that I stole cylcone!'s pic.

I don't have the skill or connections to get anything like this made so I was going to just start with blue tape on the glass hatch to simulate d-pillars.

I think the all look horrible. Leave it the way it is unless you want it to look like an 80s supercar wannabe.

p944freak, here's an idea of what the car looks like without those rear 1/4 windows.

Hope whoever owns this car doesn't mind their picture being used. It's beautiful

Agreed, definitely a cleaner look. Way nicer looking actually. I kept mine the way it was for feasibility, but prefer yours.

Not a fan of this one, but to reduce the blind spot a bit you could make the window a bit bigger:

Ruins the proportions in the rear..

Or just delete the 944 quarter windows and replace them with these:

I'll try to remember to post one like that tomorrow, I made a 10sec one and it modernizes the car so much.

this could be good if the rear hatch window was not intercepted in order to install the pillar. i think it would be really cool if the pillar tastefully sat under the window with supports, so that it would be easily visible under the glass! of course it needs to be designed in coordination with the existing 944 styling!

i'm thinking sort of like this, but adapted for the hatch (see how the glass is supported?):

Not COMPLETELY sure I follow but it sounds interesting. Any other example pics you could post so the 'cave men' like me could understand?
