Question Cost of Used Late AFM for NA

I realized this weekend that my stumbling problems on my race car were from my AFM. I was using a late AFM and late DME with a chip. I replaced both the AFM and DME together with the early units. (remember the AFM & DME must be either both early or both late due to voltage ouput difference)
Anyway it curred my problem, but I also lost use of my chip. I figure it is onyl 2-3 hp, but every little bit helps on a race car.

Anyway I am looking to get another late AFM, but don't know how much they should cost. New AFM's are $350.

BTW I did clean the contacts a bit, but it only seemed to get worse.

If a used AFM is big bucks then I will stay with the early or try to fix the late one!

hmmm...there's one for a 86-92 VW Jetta on
eBay for $9.99 (buy it now 24.99)

BOSCH p/n 0 280 202 106 which I'm guessing is same as an early 944. what's your part number?

the point is don't limit your 'search' to
Porsche + Air Flow cuz there's a lot of this stuff in other euro cars.

Thanks Tom!

I knew that Rennlist memebership would prove useful one day.

Looks like my wiper tracks were bad. I adjusted them and it looks like the unit will work now. I just need to install it in the car and test it.

Thanks This tid bit of information may save me $100 (price from my local dismantler).
