Default Rial Wheels on an early 944

I have an 83 and want to know if these rims would fit on my car without modification. They are 19X8.5 front ET50 and 19X10 rear ET 45 5X130. The tires are Continental 265/30R19 and 295/30R19.

Right now i have some fuch rims on there that are staggered with 225 in the front and 245 in the rear. the deep dish on the rear pushes the rear tires to the edge of the rim so i want to try to match this if possible.

what do you guys think

I have 8.5 x 17 et55 993 twist wheels with 235/45 tires. They would not fit front of my '84. The inner rubber rubs on coil spring. They do fit on my '90 cabriolet with no problem though. I think 265 will be a bit too much.

Sounds way too big.. Largest tire combo I've safely seen is 245 front, 285 rear.

Also, the offsets sound like they are "late offset" and your car is "early offset" so you would need to do some math to determine the spacers / adaptors to get them inside the fenders.

Ride height, alignment, shaved fender lips would also come into play.

But no, you can't just swap them right on.

Also, if your motors stock, good luck getting such huge wheels (weight) moving!

thank guys for the info.

By the way not every one that owns a Porsche drives fast. I use to autocross this car but now with kids i just like to take them out for a drive.
