Talking Drove the 951 for the first time in 3 1/2 weeks... WOW

Last month we moved. I spent nearly 3 weeks getting my old house ready to sell, and 1 week fixing up the new house. Driving the minivan all the time so I could buy crap at Home Depot over lunch, driving to the house I was working on, working at night... Sparky sat in the garage hidden behind piles of boxes... I would get home after a full day of job-related work and then 6 hours of being "handy"...

Tonight I had the boxes cleared away and, since I am slowly coming back to life (the madness is nearly over (I hope)), I took Sparky on a drive. Man o man! I had forgotten what it was like to accelerate and corner. What a great car. Funny how you can stop appreciating a pleasure when you have it daily. A little privation helps make it all the sweeter.

Sparky started on the 2d turn, too, after a month of sitting. Not bad. I love that car!

Best if taken in small doses.

Damn, I need to replace something on my car. Today when I started for the first time in a week, it took about 8-9 cranks. And it normally takes about 4-5 if I drive it daily.
