That was a pretty cool day!

Can't believe it's been nearly 2 1/2 years ago already!

Jager, you're ride is just plain sick. As good as these pics make it look, they still don't do it justice. Beautiful ride, my friend.

That long ago? Wow. I figured it was last week!

And yes, from another who has seen the red Speedster in person, +993

Take care!

Fortunately for those who are PLANE-sick: new pics!

Unfortunately, yesterday my jalopy went from sick to insane
...according to Petrolicious.com's "This Insane Porsche Wasn’t Even Supposed To Exist"

I'd say we think alike, but can't think: my mind was stolen in '09

With Porsche & planes in mind (no pun intended ):
just found this PCA Photo of the Week.

More on-topic: found 968 pics with fighter jets if anyone wants to see!

Another Petrolicious pic for the Memorial Day holiday
...photographed at a patriotic location (that RLer EJZero1 may be best-suited to recognize):

Wow, this thread has legs! Almost 6 years old, to the day, and no better reason for resurrection than more beautiful pics of Speedy!

Beautiful shot in front of the USAFA Chapel. You in town for graduation? Need to eek out some time for a quick meet over something cold to drink!

EJ-- Glad you like! I'll keep in touch when I'm back ...def have to catch up & enjoy some beverages
Tomorrow the team honors the world's newest officers via a graduation commencement flyover.

In the meantime, a 2003 snap that is Wikipedia's definitive photo of "hat toss and flyover at graduation," and even appears in a couple of posts made today, Jun 1 2016:

Partially off-topic, but on-target considering the planes, patriotism, Memorial Day, and commencement flyover chats on this thread:

Unfortunately, today's photo op (graduation flyby) was overshadowed by the news that both the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels each lost a jet.

Sadly, the Blues' loss was MUCH more significant.

"Pilot killed in US Navy Blue Angels jet crash in Tennessee"
"Jets from the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels crash on same day"
"Two separate crashes involve Blue Angels, Thunderbirds jets"
"Blue Angels jet, Thunderbird F-16 crash in separate incidents"

Godspeed, Marine.
