WD40 sprayed on your engine
#16
WD 40 has a high concentration of hexane, a nonpolar solvent, this makes it good for dissolving other nonpolar solutes such as oil, things that water can't dissolve.
Also, WD 40 is highly volatile so if you let it sit overnight, it will have all evaporated.

Agreed---add wasp/hornet killer to the mix. Either spray it heavily on the nest (to the point of it dripping) and it will kill the bugs, or (more dramatically) use the spray tube insert and a lighter and you have one helluva makeshift flamethrower which will seriously torch and nest you find! Or, it makes a great party trick at outdoor parties!

WD40 evaporates before it attracts dirt

"That?" he said, "Oh. We use that on EVERYTHING"!
And they did. Off the top of my head:
Lubricant
Cleaning solution
Insect repellent
Detangling nets
Keeping glass from fogging
Repelling seagulls
Relieve jellyfish stings
Chumming the water to attract fish
Water repellent
There was even one old guy with arthritis that constantly rubbed it into his joints. WD40 was everything to these guys.

Advanced
WD 40 is flammable,do not spray it on hot exhaust,if a coil leaks a spark it will light up.As with most chemicals use common sense .I used WD 40 for years on so many things ,gets gum out of your hair ,works to condition a horses mane ,displaces moisture ,very good product.

It's also great as a starting fluid. Especially for small engines. (lawn mowers - trimmers, etc.)
It is a great upper cylinder lubricant and will not cause damage like ether starting fluid can.
