Default My 900kg 951 proyect

The car was bought on Saturday with the idea of using it for drifting and weekend fun on the track.
On the sunday (pics 1)we had the first ride! The car had worn shockers and the car was full of fleas that had my legs bitten !!!!???

after this experience I decided to do something a bit more seriously ..
Thats why I started to pull the car down to bare metal completly (the texas chainsaw massacre).
As we are using carbon fiber to work with the ideas we had that we could try one of the lightest of the 951 ever.
That bright idea (but laborious).

Step 2
Get ridd of inecessary stuff

Step 3
The Texas chainsaw massacre to fit all that cf panels

That looks like it'll end up looking awesome. How are you going to attach the panel to the car?

Default Rear panels

We design every thing by ower self, what we try to make is so that every thing have a Porsche look (rear 1/4 panel 924 GTR influence) and at the same time I'm trying to keep the original line of the car.

Default Some more pics

At this moment we have a lot of work on udder cars so the thing goes more slower.
What we have done is a compleate fiberglass front made just for cuting, trying and to modify things on.
We have cut out the wheel arche in the front to make room enough to make the car real low and wide.

Then we have started to work on the warm air brake outlet on the fenders.

Finely we ended taking away a the last stretch of the rear chassis (2x6kg). We have made them in kevlar reforced carbon (1kg each)

Before we can go further by cutting the rollcage to get stiff upp all not to the chassis dosent twist.
