FIXED - temp gauge problem
I have a 1987 924S.
I had a temp gauge problem where my gauge would climb all the way into the hot zone after driving for a short time. I knew the car was not overheating and since the gauge jumped every time I turned on something electric, I knew it had to be a ground. I replaced the battery to engine ground as well as the engine to body ground. Problem solved.
While solving one problem it looks like another appeared though. The oil pressure/level light now stays on all the time. It used to only be on when you first start the car and it would go out after the car was started. It now stays on though. Any ideas?

Sounds like my car. I haven't messed with it yet but my temp guage does the same thing. ALso, my oil pressure light has just started coming on when I start the car but would go out after a few seconds.
