My turn signals stopped working and I was blowing the fuse as soon as I started the car. I traced it to a short where rain water was coming in through around the passenger taillight. I re-sealed the taillight housing and clean the two connections, and...turn signals work again!

replaced the tail, brake and turn signals (with electronic flasher)with LED's. An amazing difference!

The 1156 style ones from here are a little more $$, but quite a bit brighter than the Pilot ones you can get from Autozone etc. I used those for the brake and turn signals, and these for the tail lights.

After I put in a couple of new reference sensors, so I can stop jiggling the wires every couple of days to get it running again, next up are the gauge cluster LED's I also received from superbrightleds.com based on this thread.
I can't wait to see how that turns out, I can barely see the gauges at night.

Replaced the fuel filter, old one has "22.07.03" stamped on it. Probably a good thing I did...

I found the apparent cause of a water leak into the passenger foot well -- this perfectly round hole in the battery tray, covered up with some kind of seam sealer and a metal washer that sort of fits over an indent in the hole. This is not a factory hole, is it?

I relined my tray with a sealant tape. Excellent results.

1983 944,

I replaced/add missing screws from the center console and the instrument cluster.
I am learning how to find the right screws at the hardware store.
I am also learning that my little can black enamel paint is turning silver screws black screws :-)

Also leaned about removing corrosion with Scotch-Brite and spraying with enable paint to prevent future corrosion.

I love that my car is getting so pretty.

was pleased by the fact that i can drive 100+mph and barely raise my voice to have a conversation. its not quiet by any means, but certainly not crazy loud.

and triple digit speeds are hard to imagine being less dramatic than in a 944.

I actually thought about that as well. Wasn't sure if it was
Just in good shape or not. Most other cars have been a lower pile or no carpet in a track car. Either way Im happy with
The condition. Now just need to source the correct brackets
To get the SRDs installed. They have sliders but are too low
To slide on the carpet.

Spent the day on her, fitting MAF, 80lb injectors, and SFR 2.5" intercoolr pipes. I have also just done venturi delete, ran a new AOS silicone hose, and fitted Lausts vacuum manifold
