Did put a pry bar on rotor to give it a little turn and it sounds like something on the e-brake did break off, maybe a spring or a clip. When I tap the rotor with a rubber mallet you can hear little pieces of something rattling around.

Still trying to get the rotor off the car to have a better look.
At this point I cannot pull up the e-brake handle from within the car.

Any suggestion for removing a rear rotor that doesn’t seem to want to come off?

Try turning the rotor in both directions as you pull on it. This should unload the parking break shoes so it will slide off.

Hello All,

Here is the morning update!
Couldn’t find the e-brake adjuster thru the rotor hole. I turned it very slowly as far as it would go but no go.

I than put to bolts on the rotor to unfreeze it and remove it from the car. When I did this the rotor was free and immediately these items all fell out on their own.

Now I have free movement!
Will order all things related to e-brake today.

While everything was off I had better clearance to put the cv joint on the (this is the rear passenger). After getting the cv joint bolted on I noticed I have no spinning again

I have the car rear on jack stands with both tires removed.
When the car is in gear only the drivers rear hub is moving.
Is this normal or did I miss something again?

T.I.A.
