Default Pics of 944s with 924 turbo hood?

I've a chance to pick up a 924 turbo hood (the one with a vent)... does anyone have pics of that?

do u just need a new hood? cause...that vent ...there's nothing there on the engine. cam tower...exhaust mani..heater line...

I think he is just saying he has the opportunity to buy one and wants to know how it looks on a 944. It seems like Albert (aribop) just posted some pictures of his car and it seems like it had one.

Found it..... Its kind of hard to tell on a black car but I know there are others out there with this done.

although....hmm if u could route that into the fresh air fan intake....that'd be kinda nice.....overkill and unneeded....

From what I remember it isn't an easy install because the 924 and 944 use different hood shocks in different positions. I thought about getting one when I was buy the body panels for my 951 but it sounded like more work that it is worth. I wouldn't want water going all over my engine bay when it rains or I wash the car too.

there is never too much cooling in a 944 turbo engine bay, they are lacking in this area..

It's not because of a lack of air coming in though, fwiw.

Could you run a 924 Hood in SPEC 944? I am building a track car and would love to put this hood on just for aesthetics, but wont if you cant use it in SPEC.
