The lady I bought my car from had spent over $1000 with the local Porsche independent trying, to no avail, to fix the AC. I brought it home, searched on Rennlist and fixed it for <$2.00 by replacing this clip. Needless to say, I ponied up for a Rennlist membership right then and there

Yes. Dealers don't carry it. I just did mine this weekend.

Dealers don't stock it but the parts can be ordered. $3.30 and two days later I picked them up at my local Porsche Dealership.
