Default Head Gasket-- "While I'm in there..."

So my head gasket is toast, and it's time to do the belts anways. So I will be replacing the belts/rollers, head gasket, and all other gaskets that come with the set and cam chain tensioner/pads (depending on what it needs)....What else should I do while I'm in there? Car is an 87 944S with 170k on the odo.

Thanks!

Air oil separator o-rings. Might be worth replacing vacuum lines and hoses while the intake is off also. Also replace the heater control valve.

i would say anything you can get to. If your having the head off etc may as well buy the bottom end kit and do the oil cooler housing gaskets and everything else. If the head is off- do the valve seals and check the seat of the valves.

machine the head for better flow... a friend of mine actually gained 10Hp on the dyno in his 924S... it may cost you some cash though!

Oil cooler housing seals! Stop that milkshake before it starts! It's super easy to do it with the headers out of the way.

nice nice....keep em coming guys; the car's gonna be off the road for a month or 2, until it warms up here, so I'm looking to replace as many things as possible (I'd pull the engine and have some real fun but I don't have the resources)

Thanks for the responses so far!
