Default wiring diagrams

Ok, so what does the "KL.30", "KL.X", "KS 337" mean on the 944 wiring diagrams? I am trying to find the source of power coming to the wiper stalk.

Anybody know what this means?

thanks,
DB

shoot me a PM and I'll print/fax you a different diagram if you want. Should be easier to read. I have never seen those designations b4.

Here is an example of what I'm referring to in the shop manual wiring diagrams:

Anyone have a clue what this reference is ?

Here is what I get from my diagram.

When key is in ACC or RUN position, power comes from fuse #24 (30A) and goes into a Solid State module(relay?) it lookes like. The module is for the intermitant wiper controls.

From there it goes to the multi function stalk that turns your wipers on I do see that all of these things are grounded at the same source, G0116 brown wire on the left side of the firewall.

It is possible that the ignition switch portion that powers this perticular circuit is bad, but these kinda things are hard to diagnose without being right in front of it. HTH let me know if you want this faxed.

EDIT: I also see that this same ground goes to your washer sprayer pump, does this work?

KL.30 is the power directly from the battery.

KL.X is the switched power when you have the ignition switch in the run position.
