Wow, that must be what, 3 straight days of driving one way? Crazy.

Heres another part for catalog. Found it today. Hydroboost from 964 Turbo

Got a new block yesterday in Vienna, Austria. It came with bonus 944.104.310.2R head and everything else still attached to it.

Big thanks to user morghen.

Ill strip the block and get it to machine shop this week. I hope all goes as planned this time.

Ive had luck with removing head studs, no thread harmed in the process

2.7 head appears to be in very good contidion.

Thanks.

If everything goes as planned, engine should be assembled soon.

I took the head to machine shop for resurfacing and they measured it, turns out it is perfectly flat. No need to deck it, so I just cleaned the combustion chambers and test fit new 48mm 2.7 OE TRW intakes and new TRW 951 sodium exhaust valves. Now I need some new OE or aftermarket valve springs. Are there any spring manufacturers that make 951 valve springs that are stiffer than original?

I have done quite a bit of work as of late looking at springs. I have found a combo that I think is going to work out really well. It uses a Pontiac V8 outer spring and a Ford inner spring. They work with the stock retainers but the spring cup is eliminated. At stock install height they have 140-145 lb seat pressure and allow for up to 0.550" lift. I am having everything verified now with my head guy and will be posting about it in the turbo forum soon.

The Haltech Hall Effect sensor has been in production for a number of years and it has been a popular item due to it’s ability to be able to generate both home and trigger signals from the one sensor.
Do I understand this correctly? Does this mean I can get both home and trigger signal from single sensor and 60-2 wheel?
