Default Porsche logo jacket

I need some help. I'm trying to decide which Porsche racing jacket to buy (I know that they are all over priced). This is the one I'm leaning towards. Any and all suggestions will be welcome.

Me no like. Too flashy. Pimpy.

I saw some old-skool designs at the local Porsche dealer that I quite liked, but they were insanely overpriced.

Get the dealer one, or the McQueen replica. The one you posted up top looks like ***.

Picked up that jacket for $50 from a guy selling them off the street! It's not as flashy as the Ferrari one

They are great winter jackets.

I agree that's a bit too much (unless your's actually racing) and prefer subtle items but it's all about taste. My dad would wear that in a heart beat.

I've never been a big fan of wearing Porsche stuff when I'm driving my Porsche. I always get the feeling that people are looking at me like "are you too stupid to remember what you're driving or do you just think you're a big shot because you drive a Porsche".

At the track or on weekend fun runs however, I always wear Porsche stuff if I'm driving my Vette, and Vette stuff when driving my Porsche. Tends to get owners of the same group pissed off and even had a Vette guy tell me I was a traitor. When I told him my 951 would kill my ZO6 he didn't talk to me for the rest of the event.

Wow, have to agree with some others here, that jacket is a little over the top. I think if you ran in that thing, you might catch your arms on fire. The old school gulf jackets are the best .02

There are some all cotton versions too, I see them at the ALMS races in the souvenier shops.

I got a black jacket with red trim, with Porsche embroidered on the chest. it's cool, it's not flashy, and it's modest.

Hm, seems you're right. They are pretty close, though! And the one from the movie definitely wasn't leather.

(I just happen to have a copy of LeMans starring Steve McQueen)
