Just picked up my s2 cab!
Hello all,
Special thanks to Tyro (Jess) Who went and took a look at it for me. I met the owner half way in cheeseland ( Wisconsin Dells) and drove it back to Chicago.
For having 120k Miles the car is in amazing condition. It also came with a box of reciepts...some pretty damn hefty.
The piant needs a good buff and wax but shines great and the interior looks really good. The seats need some attention but should clean up nicely.
The shifter is quite sloppy. I am going to order a SSK as I hate the porsche throw. I am also going to get and aftermarket shifter and boot..OEM looks very dated.
The belts and water pump are due so they will be done this week as well.
Looks like it needs rear shocks, and has a leaky brake fluid hose. Besides that I think we are good to go. Everything else is up to date.
I will post some pictures when I get the car back. In the meantime if anyone has any wheels for the s2 let me know. I would like it to have more of an agressive look. Also what are your opions on a front splitter? I love the look but have never seen it on a red cab. Anyone have a pic?

Congrats! But where are the pics?
For the front spliter, the front bumper is the same as the 951's, so any turbo splitter should work on a s2. I haven't personally seen one on a cab, but it shoud look cool.
As for wheels, any of the late-offset wheels will work (I think its a 55 offset?).
