I now do my own alignments. I've had very good results. I got tired of paying $150-$200 per alignment several times a year...

I've tried searching with no success-- Does anyone know of a good DIY thread for 944 alignments, particularly the rear? I'm a little daunted by the trailing arms! Also, is the p221 special tool (http://www.samstagsales.com/images/stp221.jpg) a necessity?

Do some searching - I remember seeing nice diagrams for how to adjust the camber and toe on the rear.

In regards to P221 - yes, it's a necessity. It's only like $32 bucks... http://www.paragon-products.com/product_p/p221.htm
