Default Does anyone have a picture of the wiring for the power mirror switch?

My power mirrors don't work. I pulled the switch out of the driver's door and there are 2 wires broken loose from the plugs that go on the pins. The brown/white and the black are the broken wires. Does anyone have a picture or schematic so I can resolder these? Does anyone have the harness? Thanks!
Arne.

I can probably come up with a harness from an 86 NA parts car. PM me if you want it and we'll work something out.

That is a wiring diagram for the early mirriors. The later mirrors have two motors and no solenoid.

According to the shop manuals the early mirror schematics run through 87. I guess they made a mistake?

Yes. The 85.5 is the break over year for a lot of electrical changes.

However the 924S uses the same early mirriors as the early 944's.

This is the diagram for the later 944's. Remember that the 924S is like the early 944's.

Thanks guys. I'll print this and try to make sense of it tomorrow. 35thSLP, if I can't get it to work I'll take you up on your offer.

Check the sig for the 968 Aero Mirror Upgrade. There is a section that deals with wiring that might answer your questions. And do NOT solder the wires. They are too thin and will burn up in a heartbeat.
