Default door lock cylinders

Does anyone know if the door lock cylinders from the 944 front door handles, can be installed on the 968 handles?

I don't think so. The ends of the cylinders have a slightly different lever setup. But you can take all of the gates out of early and late barrels and reconstitute the newer barrels to your older key.
