i'm dragging this thread up to add a positive note.

it's been six weeks since i paid for my auction from BFR. Finally received the brake ducts this week. I asked for a $30 refund for the inconvenience. Today I received a $30 refund in my paypal account. So there's a positive mark to add to BFR's tally.

Dear euro951,
Can you even afford our engines ?

Q1: 951 head has ceramic exhaust ports and can not be ported - Intake ports 3mm larger. Q2: Milled what? Head? NO. Stock CC. Q3: 8:1. Q4: Did you read add? No flywheel included. Q5: Did you read add? Has race cam. Q6: Did you read add? New Turbocharger. Q7: Did you read add? States you will need 72 Pound injectors. Q8: I don't speak Japanise? Pressure head what? Q9: OK, just pay core charge as add states. Also Euro spec engine is same as USA - nothing special! OK Great- hope this helps !!!
==========================================

Dear autosportfl,

Porsche Certified and 928 Specialist & PCA National Tech Chairman of 10yrs already did my top end rebuild and have fresh JME Garret hybrid '89 K26-8 BB #52, I can't let a fresh engine go for that core price, but I can sell it easy and buy w/o a core , is that an option or is core required in this auction ?

As you probably know, some shops have tried to take the 944 NA head and port and polish it on both intake and exhaust ports. The correct porting of the exhaust can increase the velocity as well as the flow. This is all well and good, but what is missing is the ceramic port liner that Porsche built into the Turbo head.

The problem is that the ceramic liner that is inside the exhaust port on the Turbo head cannot be altered, so porting the exhaust cannot be done. There is an alternative and some have discovered what that is. They now have found a combination that the exhaust flows 185 CFM with the velocity increased from a miserable 390 to an impressive 566 FPS. That is a 45% increase in velocity with only a 3% loss in flow rate.

Request your flow chart & engine dyno ?
I've never heard of a k26 that requires 72lb inj, also is the head milled or stock compression ?
==========================
Dear autosportfl,

"Add" is spelled "Ad"

I don't speak ebonics.

I don't know about your engine builder, but YOU spell like a fool and have poor sales attitude.

My first impression is of an angry clown. How do you fit your big clown "Bigfoot" on the Porsche pedals with those red bigfoot clown shoes ? Is that more red clown makeup on that cam cover and oil pan ?

"Bigfoot Clown Racing" how many $15,000 plus core plus 3% paypal engines you sell this year ?

Instead of bumping all these threads why don't you make your own and explain your problem?

That guy is shady character....i would not do buisness with him....He rebuilt my engine and my first hint he was shady was the odometer.....said the guy that fixes the was out of town...which was a lie...he just didnt want to warranty the work. I found the guy, fixed the odometer after rebuild and gave prove to albert. Engine started to leak oil on dip stick within weeks....he cuts corners and didnt have the outer ring on it...just filled the hole with sealant. Next at 36000 miles enging started to leak. Called him and I was willing to pay for repair, as i understand cars are a bitch. His answer? "not my problem, you insult my work!" Now at 40,000 miles the rebuilt transaxle he did is making a terrible noise...bottom line he doesnt want to hear about problems....just wants the money...which is fine, and is why his buisness has changed its name 4 time!!

On the other hand, you could leave the couple of negative Broadfoot posts you have now behind you (of course, you're not alone in this opinion), then move on and actually get something out of the community.

Hardly anyone even mentions Broadfoot anymore. What do you think the thousands of Rennlist users who look at this forum every day think of you signing up solely to complain about him? Do you think you've earned their trust? Do you think they respect you?

This guy signed up under a slightly different username only a few days ago. Bombarded any thread to do with B/Foot and then all of a sudden all his posts are deleted and now he's back with a different name. What gives?? Clearly he has an agenda beside being a dissatisfied customer. Hard to tell what it is by the lack of depth in his posts.

I want to apologize to those of you who have not received the good customer service that you deserve when purchasing from Broadfoot racing. I personally accept that responsibility as it was I who most probably dropped the ball during some "trying" times. If you would like to contact me personally at kbroadfootm3@gmail.com I will do my best to compensate you the best I can.

I am only reaching out because I feel it is the right thing to do and I truly regret not doing so sooner.

Best regards,

Kelli Broadfoot

actually, quite the contrary. this is THE PERFECT PLACE to post!!

why ?

1. to provide continuing evidence that what has just happened is not some random event.

2. the guy doing the screwing is actually a crook.

3. to have an informal archive/history of the screwing.

1. I don't want 80 threads to cover a given topic. the obvious result is the knowledge base (which itself is in full retreat)
is spread even more thin as it continues toward the vanishing point.

2. the forum continues it's march toward the big sleep (a.k.a 968 forum).... and to fight this,
I have 200 hugely interesting threads (in the silos) go for launch. they're so interesting in fact, that it will change your whole outlook on life.

*(and convince you to go V8).
