Odometer Problem Solved
Took the gauge cluster out again Saturday for another look. All gears looked good. Turned the worm gear and everything worked fine. Tried turning the one gear that always is suspect. It was like a piece of rubber. I bent it sideways and it crumpled. What was happening is when the gears meshed and turned, the teeth on the bad gear just bent and rode over the other gears. I replaced the bad gear with the new one I had purchased. It all works as it should now. Thanks for all the help guys/gals. One more thing fixed on the car. Now to work on the short in the moon roof circuit.

Where is a good source to get replacement gears? My odometer stopped working Friday on the way to the track (re-set the trip meter when I got gas). It did last 126,000 miles, though.
