Default 1978 924

HI GUYS

Im new to this forum. let me get to the point here me and my dad fully restored a 1978 924 from the ground up in 1996 runs and looks mint from frame to all the electronics still in great shape. now that it is 20 plus years past me and my dad decided to do some work to her. I need some help on finding information and also a good mechanic and fabricator in Ontario Canada. below is a list of things we would like to do. me and my Dad just want to have some fun on the track. please don't make fun of how my car looks, the car was looking this since 1996. 1) LS1 V8 transplant (motor and drivetrain)
2) 944 or 931 brakes all around or something that can handle the V8
3) outside appearance I would like to put on fender flares and also would like to fit 16" or 17" wide rims but I don't know what size tires will fit best(wider the better and staggered preferably).
4) what suspension to use to lower a bit more?

For 96 it looks pretty bad ***. You need a new shifter, new seats front and rear and you're back to the present
