1988 924s Exhaust upgrades
Hello Everyone,
I just bought an ‘88 924s SE and I want the exhaust to be a little louder. I have seen many forum posts stating to not mess with the back pressure to the engine. Therefore, I am wondering if anyone has a suggestion for a cat-back exhaust upgrade?
I am gonna need to replace the clutch since it still has the original clutch so I thought that would be a good opportunity to upgrade the exhaust as well.
Cheers!

Someone who says an engine needs backpressure is someone you should NOT listen to for car advice.
There is nothing to be gained by changing pipe size on a 944 NA engine.
However you could certainly change the sound/volume with a different muffler. Borla XR1 is a popular choice around here.
