931 NLA parts, and how to do without them
Hi, I just registered here because I might be about to buy a 931.
The thing that bothers me is the growing list of NLA parts.
I have found a list of parts here (and would urge any 924 owner to sign the petition): http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/save-the-924
What I can't find anywhere on the internet is a comprehensive list of solutions to where to look for replacements to keep these cars running. So I thought I'd make one here, if anyone would be interested to help. It could be a good resouce for everyone to have all this information in one place, and also would give people like me a better idea of what we're getting into.
I'll start with the name of the part
then explain how to solve the problem underneath. Please chime in, and I'll update the first post whenever I find a possible solution. Please let me know if there is items missing from this list, and I'll add them.

There is a rumor that there's a BMW part that might work, but this has not been confirmed.
This guy got around the issue by replacing the entire DITC ignition system with MSD 6530. http://www.924board.org/viewtopic.php?t=37897
