That's pretty good and lighter than my Standard 1987 924S UK car which started life @ 2772Lbs,

I'm not sure why it's heavier than yours maybe I had a fair bit of fuel onboard?

But I then spent 3+ years making it lighter and more powerful and the final stats are

2222Lbs and almost identical 555Lbs each corner after setting on scale pads.

1985 (early/square dash) 944...
3000lbs with me in it (225 lbs) and a full tank of gas (17 gallons or ~107 lbs). so i guess that makes it ~2668 "empty"
has full interior w/ manual seats, functional AC/stereo, all steel body, all glass intact, spare tire and tools in the trunk. 15x7/15x8 BBS "mesh" wheels.

"lightweight" mods:
manual steering (no pump/reservoir/cooler/hoses/lines)
manual sunroof conversion (all power roof parts removed)
rear seat top-half deleted

this weight was a few years ago, it is probably different now that i've done a turbo front bumper swap, as well as replaced all the carpet with thinner/lighter stuff and removed all the original "rubberized" insulation (replaced with thick cotton jute pad under the new carpets)

Here some more details, weight was determined with 1/2 tank of gas, A/C removed except evaporator and plumping. Mine is bone stock except the A/C removal but still appears to be heavy compared to y'alls weight given the fact it's a light weight SE...

That's not too bad though.are your weights including driver? Mine are without. But tbh there's not really any physical difference between an early 944 and a 924S, guards aside, so I'd expect them to be pretty similar.

I weighed mine during the week with under a 1/4 tank of fuel. Different scales to the ones I used 8 yrs ago, i might try again with half a tank. the main differences in my car from last time is I have a 968CS rear shelf, 2-way electric sports seats and a fiberglass 924CGTS front valence. No spare or tool kit. My original seats were a manual pax seat and an 2-way electric drivers seat. Both were regular seats, not sports.
