Notaricer

So my fuel pump on my 924 went out I replaced it it ran fine for a week one day it had a hard time starting then two days later it died started after about thirty mins of tinkering and then promptly died with in a block it has tack bounce on when I crank it but the guy I bought it from did some strange rewiring with the tach wire so that may be nothing it has power to coil limited power out of could 40 psi of fuel rail pressure new battery no cat problems and Inector are opening fuel pump is engaging I believe dme relay is functional what's my next step I don't know much about these cars but am not oblivious to automotive work
