Default I fixed my luggage cover for $14 bucks

Hey everybody - the luggage cover in the trunk would not retract back. So here was my e-z fix. Remove the entire assembly [if you look closely at each end there is a hold with a screw deep inside on each side]. It is screwed to the back of the rear seat.

Next drill out the rivets that hold each end cap into place. Do not damage the end caps as you will need them again. Now at this point you can try to fix the old shade [maybe the spring inside is broken?] but I just went to Home Depot with the old shade and had a new one cut to the same exact length.

I then removed my old black shade from the non functioning roller[it is glued on] and cut some of the extra length off [it had to do it because the new shade was a tick thicker] and glued it on to the new roller [ I used some clear silicone]

I put it all back together and it is working perfect again. Took me all of 20 minutes.
