Default Missing hose

I was cleaning up my engine bay a bit while changing my timing belt when I looked at the MAF tube going to the throttle body and remembered that there is a hole there (off of the MAF tube) for a hose to go somewhere. Since I got the car there's been nothing there. It was always covered with electrical tape because the car won't run if it's open. Does anyone know where it is supposed lead to and what hose it would be? I can't see a loose hose or another unused port for the other end of the missing mystery hose. I assume I don't need it as the car is running perfectly, I'm just curious.

Not sure I follow...your 924 was modified and converted from AFM to MAF?

Post up a picture of the duct-taped nipple coming off this tube.

Not sure if this will work, for some reason the rennlist app won't let me post a picture. Should be the top picture. The thing sticking off of it at the front is what's covered on my car.

have you considered looking at the service manual to see what connects there? (it's pretty obvious when you look at the manual) - I wonder if someone removed some major parts.
