Default Speedometer (lag?)

My speedometer gets sticky after I reach 60kmh but returns to normal once I reach ~110kmh. Seems to be a bit of a dead spot in between. It doesn't completely stop, but it doesn't keep up with my acceleration. It will eventually reach the speed if I maintain a constant speed (for roughly 2 minutes) but that doesn't really help. Would this be the speedometer or the cable? I've had it apart before in an attempt to fix the odo (still doesn't work) which is when this started happening.

I would clean and lubricate the cable since that is fairly simple to do. Make sure the square drive flange in the driver's side hub cap is in good shape and that the circlip is in place.

You can replace the cable as well as a way to eliminate variables to narrow the issue down.

I would try the cable first, test for a change and then replace or repair the speedometer since that will be more expensive/time consuming.

Alright. Thanks. Is Gemo a recommended brand for the cable or is there a better option?
