I'm a recent owner of a '87 924S and have decided to use this car as a fun car and basically rebuild it into something fun vs buying a new vehicle. I own 2 928s and love the Porche. However, this time I'm looking to basically redo the entire look of both the exterior and the interior and make it into a more exotic sports car. I plan to chronicle this makeover, hence the title of this thread, and will use this thread to address the interior of the car (so i can later add links from a master post for others to read should they have interest). I will soon post pictures to baseline the "before" view and post pics along the way.

As part, I'd like to change the seats and interior.

SEATS:

Has anyone installed 928 seats in the 924S?

If so, any nuances, I should be aware of?

I'm not sure. It probably depends if they are early or late style 928 seats. Either way, I don't think they are plug and play.

As you can tell, this forum gets no traffic. Try posting in the main 924-44-68 forum, and also over at 924board .

I would love to put some early 928 "puffy" seats into my 944...those things are like sinking into a nice old sofa.
