85.5 engine into early car, temp sensor Q!
Hi guys!
I've just put a 85.5+ motor in my early car and have the sensor for the dash guage in and working but I have a question ref this.
I understand that the later sensor has a different resistance as certain temps, will this cause my guage to read higher or lower?
Also, I understand that the instrument pds can have earthing problems and seeing as I need to replace some bulbs I thought I'd carry out some preventative maintenance and have a go at that at the same time but what exactly am I looking for? I have the early square dash.
