Out of curiosity i did a quick search for info regarding the 914S. Found nothing definitive other than it possibly being a short lived US dealer option??? I had a 914 titled 914S. No flares, side shifter transmission, only a 2.0 tag on the rear, fuel injected 2.0, adjustable coilovers on the back, the extra console guages. Anyone know about these? Just curious.

I asked on the 914 forum and got my answers. Pretty much a fully loaded 2.0(4cyl) from 73 with all performance options. same as an 914SC in england??People seem pretty quick to knock them as a sales gimmick for some odd reason. I think only 200 or so were made or sold as such, but i cant remember, hence my query.
