New 914 headlights??
Gonna need headlights when I get the '73 back and start assembling it- the car is going to live in Arizona where it gets VERY dark at night. They don't believe in streetlights etc. We get so spoiled now with LED lights like the 911 and the A8, and old seal beams just aren't going to cut it.
Any one know of GOOD headlights? The '71 has Cibie's and they are just ok...
Any good aftermarket units that fit the old round sockets???

Any standard H4 will work. Hellas are what I usually go with. In fact, i have an unused set from a neglected Triumph TR-7 Project out in the garage. I'll take a huge loss on them if you want them. 40 bucks plus shipping? (I think I paid 80 for them).

I have the H4 in my car. They are pretty good, but not HID good. But, if you set your car up really low, you can run the highbeams all the time and no one notices. Or so I've heard....

I haven't driven my car at night yet! That said, Hella 7" H4 units were always the preferred replacement, at my shop, for original sealed beams.
And for you guys that do drive at night, those concealed headlights can get really, really, really dirty if you forget to open them when you wash your car!

Good luck finding them
I find all kinds of good stuff when I dig through the attic for stuff- found a brand new 914 fog light kit with bumper grills in a box last week- I think I bought that 35 years ago- figured I'd use it someday, and someday is now!
